ROEDA has been producing custom signs and graphics for over 70 years in the Chicago South Suburbs and Northwest Indiana. We are seeking both a Sign Fabricator and a Lead Sign Installer to join our production team. These hands-on roles are essential to delivering high-quality, durable, and creative signage for our clients. Candidates should bring proven technical expertise, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to craftsmanship.
Sign Fabricator – Responsibilities
Fabricate custom signage including cabinets, monument signs, channel letters, and dimensional signs using aluminum, metal, wood, acrylic, PVC, and other materials.
Perform MIG/TIG welding with precision and accuracy.
Assemble and finish signage to meet client specifications.
Operate fabrication tools and CNC equipment safely and effectively.
Interpret shop drawings and technical specifications to ensure accuracy.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Collaborate with the production team to complete projects on time and within budget.
Troubleshoot fabrication issues to uphold quality standards.
Qualifications for Sign Fabricator
2+ years of sign fabrication experience (or equivalent in custom/commercial signage).
Proficient in welding (MIG/TIG) and working with a variety of metals.
Knowledge of fabrication tools, techniques, and materials.
Experience operating CNC equipment.
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
Problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Capable of lifting heavy materials and working in a workshop setting.
Hardworking, reliable, and team-oriented.
Lead Sign Installer – Responsibilities
Lead a team of 3–4 installers while overseeing on-site sign installations.
Install and service signage including illuminated cabinets, channel letters, monument signs, wall signs, banners, fleet graphics, and window/wall graphics.
Communicate with clients on-site to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Troubleshoot and perform electrical work, LED component installs, and vinyl graphics applications.
Handle fabrication and finishing tasks, including prepping and painting substrates.
Safely operate lifts, ladders, and work at heights of 35–55 ft.
Qualifications for Lead Sign Installer
5+ years of sign installation experience (or related field).
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Ability to lift 50 lbs, work outdoors in all weather, and climb ladders.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a team.
Hands-on skills with tools, fabrication, and electrical work (LED/Neon/HO a plus).
Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.

We are seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager to serve as a key point of contact for clients, managing incoming inquiries, building long-term relationships, and overseeing projects from concept to completion.
This role involves selling a wide range of signage solutions—including interior signs, ADA signage, monument signs, exterior branding, and custom print applications. You will collaborate closely with estimators, designers, production staff, and project managers to ensure every project is delivered on time, within budget, and with outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to inbound sales inquiries and manage a portfolio of clients with professionalism and urgency.
Guide clients through scoping their signage needs, recommending solutions, and presenting design/material options.
Work with estimating to prepare accurate quotes and proposals.
Coordinate with project management and production teams to ensure smooth handoff and on-time execution.
Identify cross-selling opportunities such as vehicle graphics, wayfinding systems, or branding packages.
Provide clients with regular status updates and maintain consistent communication.
Document all client interactions, quotes, and job progress in CRM and project tracking systems (Monday.com, QuickBooks).
Build and maintain long-term client relationships through service excellence and reliability.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years in sign sales preferred, OR 4+ years in the signage industry or related construction sales.
Knowledge: Familiarity with sign types, production methods, and installation processes.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities (written and verbal), highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quoting tools; experience with CRM/project tracking software (Monday.com a plus).

Operate Presses: Set up, operate, and monitor automatic and manual screen-printing presses.
Quality Control: Inspect prints for accuracy, consistency, and overall quality, making adjustments as needed.
Ink & Color Management: Mix and match inks to achieve desired colors while maintaining consistency across runs.
Screen Prep & Maintenance: Coat, expose, and reclaim screens while ensuring proper care and storage.
Setup & Troubleshooting: Adjust screens, squeegees, and substrates to achieve proper registration and high-quality output.
Production Efficiency: Meet deadlines by maintaining steady workflow and minimizing downtime.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular cleaning and upkeep of presses and related equipment.
Safety & Compliance: Follow company safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years of screen-printing (automatic and/or manual) or comparable manufacturing experience.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with screen meshes, inks, emulsions, and printing techniques. Technical skills are preferred; starting wage will reflect experience.
Attention to Detail: Ability to spot print defects, misalignment, and ink inconsistencies.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with M&R, Anatol, or ROQ presses.
Knowledge of specialty inks (plastisol, water-based, discharge).
Understanding of pre-press and post-press processes, including heat curing and drying.
