Production Technician – Screen Print & Signs (Hybrid Role) Position Summary
The Production Technician – Screen Print & Signs is a hands-on, cross-functional role responsible for operating screen-printing equipment while supporting sign fabrication and finishing processes. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient production flow across departments and ensuring high-quality output.
This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined, detail-oriented team member who can operate equipment, support fabrication tasks, and contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This position also offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with creative teams to produce eye-catching signage that exceeds client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Screen Print Press Operation & Production
Operate screen printing press(es) to produce high-quality prints in accordance with job specifications
Set up screens, load substrates, register artwork, and adjust press settings for proper alignment and ink
coverage
Monitor print runs to ensure consistency, color accuracy, and overall quality throughout production
Perform basic troubleshooting during production (registration issues, ink flow, adhesion concerns, etc.)
Mix and manage inks to match required specifications and maintain consistency across runs
Conduct in-process quality checks and communicate any issues to leadership as needed
Sign Fabrication & Finishing Support
Assist with fabrication of signs including cutting, trimming, and assembly
Operate basic fabrication equipment (shears, saws, routers, or CNC support where applicable)
Perform finishing tasks such as laminating, mounting, weeding, taping, and packaging
Assist with drilling, hardware installation, and basic to standard level sign assembly
Support material handling and staging for install-ready projects
Support Responsibilities
Assist with screen preparation including coating, exposure, and reclaiming
Clean and maintain screens, squeegees, flood bars, and press equipment
Help stage materials and prep jobs for upcoming production runs
Support unloading, stacking, and curing processes during and after print runs
General Production Responsibilities
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Follow all company SOPs, safety procedures, and quality standards
Assist with receiving and inspecting materials when needed
Work cross-functionally with Screen Print, Digital Print, and Sign teams
Support production deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities
Qualifications
Previous experience in screen printing, sign fabrication, or general production/manufacturing or a related field preferred
Familiarity with substrates such as plastics, metals, and vinyl is a plus
Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment
Ability to read job tickets, perform math calculations, measurements, and basic production drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to lift up-to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
Experience with large-format graphics or signage production
Familiarity with inks (Nazdar or similar) and print processes
Experience with CNC equipment, or cutting tables
Forklift certification (or willingness to be trained)
Work Environment
Production/manufacturing setting with exposure to inks, materials, and equipment
Requires use of PPE where applicable (gloves, eye protection, etc.)

We are seeking a Sign Installer & Service Technician whose primary focus is on-site sign and graphics installation, with additional responsibility supporting sign servicing, repair, and light assembly/fabrication work. This role is ideal for someone with strong field experience who is comfortable working with tools, equipment, and problem-solving in real-time at customer job sites.What You’ll Do
Install a wide range of signage including vinyl graphics, wall wraps, dimensional letters, and illuminated signs
Perform primarily off-site installations at customer locations
Operate lifts, bucket trucks, cranes, and rigging equipment safely
Perform service and repair work on existing signage, including troubleshooting and adjustments
Assist with on-site assembly, mechanical work, and light fabrication as needed
Work closely with Team Leads and Project Managers to complete projects efficiently
Ensure all work meets quality standards, timelines, and safety requirements
Maintain tools, equipment, and clean job sites
Document completed work with photos and notes for project closeout
Uphold OSHA safety standards, UL/NEC compliance, and company protocols
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in sign installation, construction, or related field work
Strong ability to work hands-on in field environments and at heights
Experience with vinyl application and signage materials preferred
Mechanical aptitude; welding, fabrication, or assembly skills highly preferred
Experience with sign service or repair work is a strong plus
Comfortable operating or learning lifts, bucket trucks, and rigging equipment
Ability to read basic drawings or installation layouts
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus)
OSHA certification or willingness to obtain

ROEDA Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Operator & Sign Fabrication Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position plays an important role in the production of custom commercial signage by operating CNC equipment, fabricating sign components, assembling finished products, and assisting with a variety of production tasks throughout the facility.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and takes pride in producing quality workmanship. While CNC operation is a primary responsibility, this position also supports sign fabrication, finishing, assembly, material preparation, and other manufacturing functions as production priorities require.
Primary Responsibilities
Operate CNC routers and related cutting equipment to manufacture sign components from aluminum, ACM, PVC, acrylic, HDU, wood, and other substrates.
Read and interpret production drawings, work orders, layouts, and fabrication specifications.
Set up tooling, secure materials, verify dimensions, and perform machine calibration as required.
Load, unload, and safely handle production materials.
Assist with fabrication of interior and exterior signage.
Perform trimming, routing, drilling, sanding, deburring, laminating, and general finishing operations.
Assemble sign cabinets, dimensional letters, panels, and custom sign components.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and dimensional accuracy are met.
Maintain clean and organized work areas while following all company safety procedures.
Perform routine machine maintenance and notify leadership of equipment concerns.
Work closely with Production Managers and fellow team members to meet production schedules and changing priorities.
Assist other departments within manufacturing as workload demands.
Qualifications
Previous experience operating CNC routers or similar manufacturing equipment preferred.
Experience within the sign, graphics, woodworking, metal fabrication, plastics, or manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
Ability to read shop drawings, production prints, or CAD-generated layouts.
Comfortable using measuring tools and maintaining close production tolerances.
Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills.
Forklift experience is a plus (or willingness to become certified).
Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
